MAKE BELIEVE (2023)…
is the product of many improvisational attempts to connect with what brings us joy, the seemingly impossible, and where our collective interest moves us. Much like kids at play, Make Believe will transport you to a world of clear conviction, missed connections, joyful agreements, and mystery. Make Believe was created by making an improvisational score with roles. Each time we perform, we rotate who takes on which role, much like the role-playing that takes place when kids play games.

I INHERITED THIS (2018)…
is a non-commentary about human behavior, relationships, and imagination. It asks us about the mystery, desire, influence, and emptiness that dictate our decision making. Our innate qualities, learned behaviors and cross-pollination come to play in the blue sea of the constructed unknown.
What is ours? What belongs to us? What is transient? What did we lose? What do we acquire? What do we value? What are we reacting to? What lies beneath the architecture? What will we discover? What will we leave behind?
Funerals, summers, hospitals, cottage cheese, submission, property, capitalism, piano concertos, sense of duty, sass, aversion to authority, financial burden, cynicism, athleticism, laughter, lankiness, fiction, god is in the details, simplicity, belonging, becoming human.
